Liliana was a a standout in week two for the Lady Wolverines. The point guard scored 18 points with 8 assists, 14 rebounds, and 7 steals on a 2-game weekend stint that saw her team secure the first girls win in program history.
HONORABLE MENTION: MIA NIEVES
Nieves led all scorers with 14 points in Sunday's win over Colchester. Mia jumped out the gate with 6 of the Wolverines first 8 points setting the tone for a great day. Her play was a driving force in the first regular season win for 4/5G.
Lucas has been an anchor for the Wolverines so far this season. His work scoring and rebounding has helped the team thrive. This weekend he posted 14 points, 17 rebounds, 2 assists, and two steals in efforts against Prospect and North Branford.
HONORABLE MENTION: BRIAN WHALEN
Brian came back this season bigger, stronger, and ready to play a big role with the team. His weekend was a story of play with hustle, heart, and no fear. In a solid two game stretch, Brian posted 7 points, 6 rebounds, 3 steals, and three assists to lead all guards on the 8th grade squad.
Drew is an explosive athlete who turns lockdown defense into offense. Over the weekend split vs Windsor and Bloomfield, Kofsuske posted 23 points, 8 Rebounds, 7 steals and 3 assists helping secure the first regular season win of the campaign for 7th Grade.
HONORABLE MENTION: OWEN HARRIS
Harris has solidified the middle for the Wolverines so far this season. His energetic and gritty play has been a catalyst for the teams early success. Owen posted 10 points, 14 rebounds, 4 blocks, and 2 assists in games against Windsor and Bloomfield.
"Big A" was a force to be reckoned with this weekend leading his squad to a regular season opening victory against Manchester. Holding it down in the paint, Antonelli posted 10 points, 16 rebounds, and 2 steals in a loss to Wolcott and the win against Manchester
HONORABLE MENTION: MAX WHITE
Max played mistake free basketball from the point guard position this weekend. He had 10 points, 4 assists, 3 steals, and was the engine that drove the defensive press.
