HONORABLE MENTION:
MASON MEJIAS & CJ CALLAHAN
Mason Mejias has always been a strong scorer for the Wolverines. This season he has been asked to become a bigger inside force and to help carry the rebounding and facilitating role. He has been excellent with both and this weekend was no exception. Mejias was critical for the Wolverines scoring 7 points, grabbing 15 rebounds, handing out 6 assists, and grabbing 2 steals over the weekend. For his selfless play and developing leadership, Mason is our Honorable Mention of the Week.
CJ Callahan had a strong weekend as the point guard scored the 500th point of his Wolverines tenure (program started in 2022) on Friday night. That moment came on a the first score of a 3 game stretch where Callahan tallied 20 points, 13 rebounds, 8 assists, and 8 steals. For this well-rounded performance, CJ is our Honorable Mention of the Week.
