Cici is as a reliable a player as a coach can ask for. She plays 3 or 4 positions each game on 2 different teams and always knows and executes her job. This weekend Rodriguez had 8 points, 10 rebounds, 1 assist, and 3 steals playing for her 5th grade team. Her defensive dominance can not be overstated as CiCi shut down the entire right side of the court in the 2-3 zone defense. For her efforts, she is our Player of the Week.

MADDIE SMITH
Maddie has been asked to play both guard and forward positions this season. Her versatility was on full display with 14 rebounds, 3 assists, and a steal in her teams first two regular season wins of the year.
Mia is a prime-time scorer for the 6G Wolverines. In one game of action vs. 1st place Groton, she piled in 8 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 steals bringing her team back from a slow start to a mid-game rally. For her efforts, Mia is our Player of the Week.

CADENCE CALLAHAN-LAPIA
Cadence "KK" is a blue collar worker on the court who relishes in the hard jobs. Rebounding, setting screens, and defending the post. This weekend she did a bit of everything. Playing up for the 6th grade team, KK had 4 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist, and 4 steals to earn the nod at Honorable Mention.
Maxwell has settled in as a very capable combo-guard for the 6B Wolverines. His ability to score and distribute alike has driven his rapidly improving team to 2-0 in the regular season. Across two games, Matuskey poured in 21 points, grabbed 5 boards, handed out 2 assists, and added 2 steals. For his efforts, Maxwell is our Player of the Week.
HONORABLE MENTION:
SAMIR ZAIM SASSI
Samir plays with a motor and a confidence beyond his years. He provides both post and perimeter support to his team as a versatile threat. Zaim Sassi tallied 19 points, 10 rebounds, 2 assist, and 3 steals jolting his team to a pair of victories against Manchester and Wolcott.
Jaxson has taken on point guard responsibilities for his team. His work breaking the press this Sunday allowed the 6/7B Wolverines battled Madison before falling 46-32. Graham directed the offense with precision moving the ball to his teammates for prime scoring opportunities while adding 4 points of his own. For his efforts, Jaxson is our Player of the Week.

CHRIS HOLMAN
Chris's improvement week of week was noted by his coach. Holman provided rebounding and defensive support for his team. His timely scoring saw him finish with 4 points vs Madison. For his efforts, Chris is our Honorable Mention of the Week.
Max is the floor leader for the 7B Wolverines squad. His decision making and pass-first mindset are the makings of a traditional floor general at the point. Max played mistake free basketball in two games where every possession mattered. He chipped in 8 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, and 5 steals. White's efforts earn him this week's Player of the Week.
HONORABLE MENTION:
RYAN GOSTOMSKI
Gostomski made his season debut for the 7B squad on Sunday. His much anticpated arrival, after playing up last season with what is now the 8B team, was spectacular. Ryan poured in 29 points, 4 rebounds, 2 steals, and 1 block. One of his scores was the game winner. Gostomski drove left in the lane with under 10 seconds and pulled up to put his team ahead for good at 51-50. This game of the week performance earned him the nod as our Honorable Mention.
Gage Oxford was a man among boys this weekend. His stat sheet in two wins against Montville and Madison was filled to the brim. Oxford averaged 14.5 points, 11.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1.0 steals, 1.0 blocks and was flat out spectacular in his Wolverines debut. For his efforts, Gage is our Player of the Week.
HONORABLE MENTION:
JJ WARRICK
JJ Warrick is a walking bucket... His shooting accuracy was off the charts as he averaged 17.5 points per game across two wins while missing only 3 shots all weekend. He was 7 or 9 from 3-point range in the process. JJ is our Honorable Mention of the week.
