Peyton had a very solid set of games in her Wolverines debut with a well rounded stat line of 5 points, 5 rebounds, 2 steals, and an assist. Her play at the point guard position provided a big boost for her team.
HONORABLE MENTION:
MAKENNA JAMES & SYDNEY REPKO
Both Sydney and Makenna played strong defense, showed tremendous hustle, and provided a spark for their team. The duo combined for 17 rebounds, 6 steals, and 1 blocked shot.

Casey set the standard for effort in her Wolverines debut and seemed to be everywhere on the court. She had 10 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 steals, and two blocked shots in this weekends action and was able to set teammates up to score off of the inbounds pass.
HONORABLE MENTION:
MIA NIEVES
Mia hit a series of big shots for her team. She also provided primary ball handling support with only 3 turnovers. Her performance of 8 points, 6 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal, and 1 blocked shot are worthy of recognition.

Teague was a defensive menace (4 steals and 1 blocked shot) and an offensive spark plug (9 points, 3 rebounds) for the Wolverines. He stood out for his competitive spirit and energetic effort.
HONORABLE MENTION:
COLE GERME
Cole initiated the offense in the face of big defensive pressure. The guard performed as a capable scorer who also rebounded well against taller players (5 rebounds) and played strong defense (3 steals).

Joey was instrumental in his team's success this weekend. His strong contributions were felt across multiple phases (12 points, 27 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 blocks) in two games of action.
HONORABLE MENTION:
NOAH MASON
Noah was a threat on both sides of the ball for his team (11 points, 2 rebounds, 1 blocked shot). The guard had a sharp shooting streak of 3 straight 3-pointers in the first of his two games this weekend.

Jack Corso had a spectacular tournament for the Wolverines. The guard did a bit of everything for his team while scoring in bunches. Corso's stat-line (23 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, 7 steals, and 3 blocked shots) strongly supports this well-deserved player of week nod.
HONORABLE MENTION:
COLE HOWLETT
Cole continues to grow into a vintage center that provides his team rim protection, interior scoring, and rebounding strength. Howlett made an impact in many areas of the game (22 points, 23 rebounds, 2 assists, and 3 steals).

CJ played his best in the biggest moments guiding his team to victory with 26 points, 11 rebounds, 10 assists, and 4 steals. As the primary ball handler, running the offense, Callahan was instrumental in helping his team break the press. His efficient scoring performance came on 9 of 12 shooting (75%) and 7 of 8 from the free throw line (88%)
HONORABLE MENTION:
MASON MEJIAS
Mason, who started the day with shooting woes, made big baskets when it mattered most. The versatile forward made 3-straight 3-point baskets with his team down five points in the finals and just over 3 minutes left in the 4th quarter. The Mejias hot streak helped secure what would become a thrilling overtime victory in the championship game for Wallingford.
