CAL GOGLIETTINO
Gogglienttino had a very strong weekend scoring the ball with 23 points. The versatile wing also added 11 rebounds, and showed great court vision with 6 assists. His team continued to compete with the top flight programs in the league and Cal has been a major reason why.
HONORABLE MENTION:
KAEDEN KNECHT
Knecht brought the defensive energy this weekend with 4 steals and 5 blocked shots. He also had strong contributions on the offensive and defensive glass with 6 points and 7 rebounds.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK:
LUCA DAUGHENBAUGH
Lucas was a defensive spark for his team this weekend. His hustle and heart were evident in his play. He set the tone against a very tough, first place, East Lyme team.
HONORABLE MENTION:
GRAYSON TURNER
Grayson was another defensive standout for Coach Palowski. His on-ball pressure and commitment to rebounding had notable impacts on the game.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK:
CADENCE CALLAHAN-LAPIA
Cadence anchored the middle for the 6th grade girls this weekend. Her 8 points, 13 rebounds, 1 assist, 4 steals, and 2 blocks were impressive. She played all 32 minutes of the hard fought game against Valley.
HONORABLE MENTION:
PEYTON CLARK
Peyton Clark stepped up in crunch time in a back-and-forth game vs Valley. She ended with 2 points, 3 rebounds, 1 assist, and 1 big steal in the final minutes of a close game.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK:
REBECCA GRAVER
Graver has had a breakout month in January. She has increased her minutes and contribution the old fashioned way... Hard work and impact play. Against Clinton, she was excellent in all facets of the game. Her 11 (3-for-4 on 3pt attempts) points led the team and she added 6 rebounds, 1 assist, and 3 steals.
HONORABLE MENTION:
ANNIE KANSLER
Kansler saw extensive action in the Clinton game and showed increased confidence shooting and handling the ball. Her defensive help, in a game where the team was short-handed with Lil Michalski, was a much needed boost.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK:
SAMIR ZAIM-SASSI
Samir is a difference maker for the 7th grade Wolverines. His position versatility, scoring prowess, and team-first play are notable. This weekend, in one game of action, Zaim-Sassi tallied 12 points, 5 rebounds, 2 steals, and 1 blocked shot.
HONORABLE MENTION:
MAXWELL MATUSKEY
Maxwell has been the engine that drives this team. As the floor general and a primary scorer, Matuskey had another impactful game on Saturday with 12 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1 steal.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK:
THOMAS CHESERY
Thomas was the difference maker in his teams 45-40 win over Bloomfield. The combo guard hit 4 three pointers on his way to 19 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals. His play will be critical in the rematch between these two teams on Saturday.
HONORABLE MENTION:
NOAH MASON & JOEY BOZZI
Bozzi is the most consistent scorer on his team as he can do so from any spot on the floor. His physical play against Bloomfield set a tone for his team that showed they would not back down. Bozzi had 11 points, 5 rebounds. Mason was the catalyst in his teams win on Saturday. On a few occasions, on both sides of the floor, Mason took the game over. His 6 points, 2 rebounds, and 2 steals don't begin to summarize how much of an impact he had on the game.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK:
MAX WHITE
Coach Howlett called White's effort against New Britain his "best overall game as a Wolverine." White has continued his emergence as a prime-time scorer with 14 points, 1 rebound, 3 assists, and 2 steals. His perimeter defense was a key factor in his teams 52-46 win at New Britain.
HONORABLE MENTION:
CRISTIANO OLIVEIRA
Cristiano is an impact player - especially on the defensive side of the ball where his high motor effort and athleticism shine. His 8 rebounds and constant rim protection are examples of the value that Oliveira finds in winning contributions that don't always show on the stat sheet.
