BLAKE LADRIGAN
Blake's coach raved about his play this weekend. He was strong on offense with 9 points and added 3 rebounds, 3 steals, and 2 blocks on the weekend helping his team to a 1-1 record in 2 games.
HONORABLE MENTION:
CAL GOGLIETTINO
Cal has emerged as a very reliable scorer for his team this season. In 2 games of action, Gogliettino had 17 points, 11 rebounds, 3 assists, 5 steals, and 5 blocks.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK:
OWEN WILLARD
Willard made a solid 2-way impact for the Wolverines. Rebounding and rim protection have been the biggest areas. On the weekend, Owen had 6 points and 20 rebounds for the ever improving 5/6th combo team.
HONORABLE MENTION:
WHITEHOUSE, GOGGLIENTINO, & ALGARIN
The team was missing some players this weekend and the 4B trio were asked to play up with the older team... and play they did! They gave a boost of energy in action this weekend and showed no signs of being intimidated by the older, bigger, players.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK:
MAKENNA JAMES
Makenna was a dominate force this weekend for the Wolverines. Her career high 14 points, 15 rebounds, and 5 steals powered her team to a big win over North Branford. On the weekend she was a force for her 4-2 team.
HONORABLE MENTION:
CiCi RODRIGUEZ
CiCi is a luxury utility for 6G. Her ability to score, handle the ball, and defend the post or perimeter equally are all key to her teams success.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK:
REBECCA GRAVER
Graver has become a willing shooter on the perimeter this season. Over the weekend, in addition to her 6 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals, Rebecca consistently made the right play on offense. Her passing and quick decisions to shoot when open helped open up the offense.
HONORABLE MENTION:
CiCi RODRIGUEZ & MIA NIEVES
The duo has been sharing point guard roles and directing the offense. Against East Hartford, CiCi and Mia started the game 4-for-4 from 3-pt land.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK:
ALEX RIVERA
Rivera is quickly becoming an impact player for the 7B Wolverines. This weekend, the versatile forward made his presence felt with 15 points, 14 rebounds, 2 assists, and 4 steals. His emergence and inside scoring will be a key to success as the season progresses.
HONORABLE MENTION:
MADDEN LAUDANO
Madden made impacts on the court that could not always be seen in the boxscore. Scrappy defense, diving on the floor for loose balls, and slashing cuts to the basket were certainly things his coaches noticed. His contributions were timely and needed with 4 points, 5 rebounds, 3 steals, and 1 assist.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK:
CHRIS HOLMAN
Chris is the ideal Wolverine. Hard working, selfless, and able to contribute in a number of different ways to help his team win. This weekend, he was sensational with 14 points, 12 rebounds, and 1 assist.
HONORABLE MENTION:
OMAR YAGHZAR & ELLIOT BERKUN
Coach Bozzi was impressed with both players in their defensive intensity and hustle. Yaghzar also began to find his touch offensively while Berkun moved to the post on defense and battled larger opponents for rebounds.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK:
RYAN GOSTOMSKI
When Ryan Gostomski catches fire, he can carry an offense. Gostomski was at his best on the weekend and his teammates found him early and often. His 53 point outburst across two games (26 and 27 respectively, with 4 rebs, 1 stl, and 1 blk) was spectacular and nearly pushed the Wolverines past defending champion, Windsor (they lost 57-55).
HONORABLE MENTION:
MAX WHITE
White has been a spark for the 8th grade squad this year. Ball handling support, timely shooting, and defensive hustle have been his hallmark. On the weekend, Max had 13 points, 7 assists, and 1 steal.
