Baia was noted for his hustle on both sides of the court. His team benefitted from his 4 points, 5 rebounds, and 1 blocked shot. Chase's strong play was key in 4B picking up their 6th win of the season.

GREYSON CARRAS
Carras continued his strong play this week with 4 points, 6 rebounds, and 1 steal. The hallmark of Greyson's play was strong team work and focus on fundamentals were notable.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK:
WILL PALOWSKI
Will had a strong weekend playing strong defense and contributing offensively. Against first place East Lyme, Palowski collected 4 points, 9 rebounds, 4 steals, and 1 blocked shot while providing strong communication on both sides of the floor.
HONORABLE MENTION:
ETHAN MATUSKEY & LUCA DAUGHENBAUGH
This duo combined to drive the defensive intensity and provided an offensive spark with a combined 5 points, 9 rebounds, and 3 steals.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK:
CiCi RODRIGUEZ
CiCi had a memorable performance against Coginchaug. The combo guard poured in 14 points, grabbed 5 rebounds, dished 3 assists, and added 1 steal and 1 block. With consecutive defeats of divisional leaders (Coginchaug and HAR-BUR), the 2nd place Wolverines have shown they can win it all.
HONORABLE MENTION:
JAZZY CRESPO
Crespo is a fearless player who is always willing to take the big shot. He jumper with a little over a minute remaining against Coginchaug all but sealed the win. Her 5 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists, and 10 steals were instrumental.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK:
CADENCE CALLAHAN-LAPIA
Callahan-LaPia and CiCi Rodriguez play on both 6 and 7th grade teams as starters for both. Callahan-LaPia anchors the middle for both teams. This weekend was a prime example of how well she does her job. The center scored 8 points on 4 of 6 shooting while adding 16 rebounds and 4 assists. The performance was a well rounded example of how she plays.
HONORABLE MENTION:
LILIANA MICHALSKI
Liliana provides leadership by effort and example for the 7G squad. Her relentlessness on defense and stamina to push the pace on offense have been a bright spot. Michalski scored 6 points, grabbed 7 rebounds, dished 2 assists, and added 2 steals.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK:
AUSTIN SARANGO
Coach Harrington's 7th grade squad saw thier only game snowed out this weekend. With that, he took the opportunity to call out Austin Sarango who has worked diligently this season on his game. Sarango has been recognized for his work ethic, being very coachable, and raising his level of play each week.
HONORABLE MENTION:
JACKSON KOLODZIEJ
Jackson has been swiftly improving as a scoring threat for his team. His assertiveness on the offensive and defensive side of the ball has been a boost that will power the 7th grade Wolvs through the second half of the season.

NOAH MASON
Noah Mason seemed to be everywhere on the court for his team on Friday night. The versatile guard was hitting big shots, making key steals, and handling the ball against pressure. All told, Mason had 9 points, 2 rebounds, and 3 steals.
HONORABLE MENTION:
LUKE VACCINO
Luke has continued to improve this season finding a role as a spot up shooter and help defender. His hustle on Friday against Marlborough was noted by his coaches.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK:
CHASE CARTER
Chase had a breakout game with 9 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 assists. What was also notable was the scoring burst came after an elbow to the face that caused him to sit out the third quarter. Carter was key to the 8th grade team picking up their 6th win of the season.
HONORABLE MENTION:
COLE HOWLETT
Cole was a dominant force in the middle for the Wolverines on Saturday. The center logged a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds while providing emotional leadership and defensive intensity.
