HONORABLE MENTION:
JEREMIAH ALGARIN
Algarin has shown offensive skill, defensive effort, and leadership skills all season. This weekend, he was able to chip in 13 points, 8 rebounds, 1 assist, 3 steals, and 10 blocked shots.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK:
WILL PALOWSKI
Will has continuously improved all season. Specifically on the defensive side of the ball. His weekend saw him collect 6 points, 7 rebounds, 1 assist, and 3 steals as his team competed hard and continued to show growth as a group.
HONORABLE MENTION:
MASON YCAZA
Ycaza has proven to be a "swiss army knife" of sorts for his squad in that he does a bit of everything. His 4 points, 7 steals, 6 rebounds, and 7 steals served as an example of his versatility.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK:
CADENCE CALLAHAN-LAPIA
Cadence had a strong weekend performance for her team who lost two close games (one by 1-point and another by 2). In total, she tallied 7 points, 26 rebounds, 3 assists, 9 steals, and 4 blocked shots.
HONORABLE MENTION:
MAKENNA JAMES
Makenna was a threat on offense, defense, and on the backboards for 6G this weekend. Her 8 points, 24 rebounds, 1 assist, 4 steals, and 3 blocks were critical in keeping her team in their games.

CO-PLAYER OF THE WEEK:
LILIANA MICHALSKI
If effort could be measured as a statistic, Michalski would be the program's "All-Time Leader." Her motor is endless and her drive to impact the game is palpable. She was a driving force in her teams success this weekend with 17 points, 25 rebounds, 6 assists, 4 steals, and 2 blocked shots. Her play was an example of what it means to fully commit.

CO-PLAYER OF THE WEEK:
KAITLYN CASSESSE
Cassesse had a stellar weekend scoring and rebounding the ball. The sharpshooter tallied 19 points, 16 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals on the weekend and was efficient shooting 50% from the field in the process.
HONORABLE MENTION:
MIA NIEVES
Mia, the leading scorer for the Wolverines, could be recognized every week. She enjoyed a strong weekend turning in what may have been her best performance of the season on Saturday vs East Hartford with 19 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists. On the weekend, Nieves had 21 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists, 5 steals, and 2 blocked shots.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK:
SAMIR ZAIM-SASSI
Samir had a strong weekend scoring the ball. His 22 points, 11 rebounds, 1 assist, and 3 steals paced his team as they faced a couple of strong teams while being short handed. For his efforts, he is our player of the week.
HONORABLE MENTION:
Asher Gaworgy
Gaworgy continued his strong play this season turning in 12 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals. His efforts were from only one game this weekend.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK:
JOEY BOZZI
In a victorious showdown with Madison, Bozzi carried his team down the stretch with key baskets and rebounds. On the weekend, Joey had 35 points and 18 rebounds while his team went 1-1 in 2 games of action.
HONORABLE MENTION:
LUKE VACCINO & THOMAS CHERSERY
Vaccino and Chersery provided a solid boost for the 8Blue squad in their two games of action. Chesery with pin point shooting (8 points, 4 rebounds) and Vaccino with his efforts on the glass (14 rebounds).

PLAYER OF THE WEEK:
ETHAN JOHNSON
Johnson was versatile in his efforts across two games this past weekend. He collected 8 points, 31 rebounds, 4 steals, and 2 blocked shots in action against Waterford and Colchester. He was also a critical factor in helping his team break the full court press.
HONORABLE MENTION:
JACK CORSO
Corso has become the lead point-guard role on a team with an abundance of guard talent. He runs the offense smoothly and is a dynamic playmaker. His 23 points, 8 rebounds, 10 assists, 2 steals, and 1 blocked shot served as a showcase for all he does for the 8Gold squad.
