GREYSON CARRAS
Carras enjoyed a breakout weekend for the 4B Wolvs. He played with leadership and passion providing a boost to his team across two games. Greyson scored 12 points, had 12 rebounds, 1 assist, 4 steals, and a blocked shot in a win over HK and a close loss to East Haddam.
HONORABLE MENTION:
JEREMIAH ALGARIN
Algarin plays with a high motor and his coaches call out how driven he is as a player. Numerous times, when his team needs a big play, he has come through. On the weekend, he cashed in 9 points, 11 rebounds, 6 steals, and 3 blocks.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK:
MASON YCAZA
Ycaza can do it all for the 5/6B Wolverines. His ability to handle the ball, score, defend multiple positions, and rebound from the guard position has been notable. On the weekend Mason led his team to a 1-1 record with a close loss to North Haven and a win in a rematch with North Branford. His 11 points, 6 rebounds, 9 steals, and 1 blocked shot provided a spark that energized his team on both ends of the floor.
HONORABLE MENTION:
WILL PALOWSKI
Palowski was seen making hustle and posession extending plays this weekend. In close games with North Haven and North Branford, his defensive hustle and offensive intangibles made a sizable impact including a steal made against NB that led to the go-ahead basket.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK:
CADENCE CALLAHAN-LAPIA
Callahan-LaPia provides for the girls program (she plays both 6th and 7th grade) what Cole Howlett and Ethan Johnson have long been for the boys program over the years: SHE OWNS THE POST. Cadence was dominant this weekend with 16 points, 22 rebounds, 3 assists, and 8 steals in a 1-1 weekend for 6G.

EMILY GRAYEB
Grayeb had a very solid week contributing in a number of different ways that brought a spark to her team. Her 4 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 steals only tell part of the story of her impact on the games.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK:
LILIANA MICHALSKI
Liliana Michalski has always been an impact player for the 7G team. This weekend she was the engine of effort and energy that drove her team. 8 points, 11 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals, and 2 blocked shots served as a testimony to her versatility.
HONORABLE MENTION:
KAITLYN CASSESSE
Kaitlyn has been emerging as a reliable scorer and and efficient one as well (shooting 45% from the field and 67% from free-throw line). This weekend she added 10 points, 6 rebounds, 1 assist, and 1 steal.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK:
MAXWELL MATUSKEY
Matuskey has continued to develop as a lead guard from the point position. He has shown strength handling the press and dictating the tempo for his team. Maxwell had 21 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals on the weekend.
HONORABLE MENTION:
ASHER GAWORGY
Gaworgy has made his mark in his first year as a Wolverine. The combo guard had 16 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists, and 3 steals on the weekend.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK:
OMAR YAGHZAR
Omar has been cited from Coach Bozzi for his continued improvement from the start of the season. His willingness to find scoring opportunities in the flow of the offense and tough defense have been a huge part of it. On the weekend, Yagzar had 11 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 assists against top-flight competition.
HONORABLE MENTION:
JOEY BOZZI
No player in the program does more for their team than Bozzi. He plays all five positions on the floor as a primary ball handler, rebounder, and leading scorer. On the weekend, Bozzi had 27 points, 12 rebounds, and 1 assist.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK:
ETHAN JOHNSON
Ethan is the programs all-time leading rebounder with over 700. He is also the all-time leader in blocks so making an impact isn't new. In a grudge match with Griswold, Johnson added another accolade to his lengthy list... A buzzer beater to pull his team through to a 57-55 victory.
HONORABLE MENTION:
RYAN GOSTOMSKI & MAX WHITE
White and Gostomski have teamed with Jack Corso as the best back-court in the Wolverines program this season. White continued his emergence as a scorer with 15 points and stellar defense, while Gostomski continued his march towards the top of the all-time scoring list with 28 points in the win.
